Help us to improve and win a ticket for our wine party in Lavinia Madrid

THIS DRAW HAS FINISHED
Last month Spanish Wine Lover turned five years old. Time goes by so quickly and there is always so much to taste, write and translate that we didn’t have the time to make a formal announcement, let alone celebrating.
Instead, we decided to stop, take a deep breath and think over things looking at the future. But no online magazine can do so without asking its readers.
That is why we would like you to take a few minutes to fill a short survey. We know time is precious so as a little encouragement, we are hosting a draw to win five tickets for our coming wine party in Lavinia Madrid on November 8th. Check here the names of producers who will be pouring their wines for Spanish wine lovers.
The balance of our first five years is very positive. Already an award-winning website, SWL has established a reputation as a reliable, bilingual source of contents about Spanish wine. Even if our traffic figures are not extremely high, three trends have consolidated in 2019: over 50% of readers are based outside of Spain, most of our followers are aged between 25 and 44, and we have over 40% of female readers.
A crucial issue for online magazines is how to monetize our content as expenses for a bilingual website are particularly high. SWL is funded largely from advertising and selling links but these traditional online media resources are not always free from conflicts of interest. As an independent site, SWL does not accept paid contents and mentions -what’s more, we are worried about the increasing difficulties to set apart marketing content from independent information in part of the media.
We have never considered becoming fully or partly a subscription website, but we are keen to know whether you would be willing to pay for specific contents about Spanish wine. SWL is grateful for your feedback about our site’s contents and how user-friendly it is. Your answers will be tremendously useful to stay on course for at least five more years.
Many thanks for your time. We hope to greet many of you personally at our wine party in Lavinia on November 8th.
