Corpinnat base wines tasting

The wineries that make up CORPINNAT (Gramona, Llopart, Nadal, Recaredo, Sabaté i Coca, Torelló, Huguet de Can Feixes, Júlia Bernet, Mas Candí, Can Descregut, Pardas, Bufadors, Cisteller, Viader, Mas de la Basserola, Kripta, Demostró, Mas Bertrán, and AT Roca) organise a tasting of base wines from the 2025 harvest (varieties and blends) from each brand. These base wines will be used to produce long-aged Corpinnats. Visitors will also be able to taste three sparkling wines from each winery. Three sparkling wines from each winery will also be available for tasting. The Subsierra de Rioja association will be the guest region. Fifteen masterclasses in Catalan, Spanish and English on different topics have also been scheduled.

Off the Record

The Off the Record Wine Fair celebrates its 10th anniversary with more than 40 producers participating from across the country and beyond, as well as a wine party featuring DJ Fredi Torres and wines by the glass, with separate admission from the festival.

Vella Terra 2026 - Natural Wine Fair

Coinciding with the first day of BWW, the 11th edition of the Vella Terra fair presents more than 500 natural wines from 82 vignerons from 13 countries. Among the Spanish producers will be Gratias, Ton Rimbau, Mas Candí, Clan del Vino, Loxarel and Bodegas Garay.

Third edition of this alternative wine fair to the BWW, which will bring together more than 50 small or emerging wineries from Spain as well as Italy, Portugal, France, Austria and Greece.

Wine Women

The Mujeres del Vino group presents this event, which this year changes its usual date from the last day of BWW. More than 40 women producers from over 20 designations of origin will be offering the opportunity to taste approximately 200 wines.

The wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape

This area in the southern Rhône produces Mediterranean-style wines from a total of 13 varieties, predominantly Grenache. This tasting is open to everyone and no prior knowledge is required. Before starting, there will be a brief introduction on how to taste, what to look for and, above all, what not to try to guess. A tasting designed to enjoy wine without labels and without pressure.

Wine Carnival

The Wine Carnival returns to Haro under the slogan ‘El gusto es nuestro’ (The pleasure is ours) with wine and tapas tastings, parades and shows. Lunch with Eduardo Eguren at Angelita Madrid

A lunch led by Eduardo Eguren, fifth generation of the Eguren family and creator of the Cuentaviñas project, together with his wife Carlota González. In 2018, after inheriting three vineyards, he decided to embark on this project, which now has wines in Rioja and Ribera del Duero. History of fermentation

Fernando Mayoral Santamaría, Spain's Best Sommelier 2024, will speak at the Association of Sommeliers of Navarra about the great influence that fermentation has had on the evolution of beverages, delving into how the fermentation process has changed over the centuries, what techniques were used in different cultures, and how these methods determine aromas, textures, and sensory profiles. Nine beverages will be tasted, including wine, beer and sake.

Screening of the film ‘Jerez and the magic of Palo Cortado’

José Luis López-Linares, director of this documentary, will be present tonight at the screening, which aims to be a sensory and historical journey through five centuries of Jerez tradition. Also in attendance will be Alberto Fernández Bombín, one of the project's promoters, and Eduardo Ojeda, from Equipo Navazos. Ricardo Sánchez from the Arturo Sánchez Iberico ham company will be in charge of pairing the Ibericos with a selection of palo cortado wines.
