Ribeiro Wine Fair

The 63rd edition of the Ribeiro Wine Fair returns with over 35 wineries and independent growers, featuring various activities such as a popular blind tasting and the Obradoiro de Cocina, where a couple of sommeliers will pair dishes from Galician restaurants with Ribeiro wines.

Carinyenas de Porrera

Each of the 20 wineries in the village of Porrera, in DOQ Priorat, offers two of its finest Cariñenas –wines that are often barrel-aged and will later be used in blends to produce each winery’s final wines.

19th Tast amb Llops

A total of 26 wineries will take part in this event, featuring local wines from 13 producers in Gratallops and a further 13 invited from other villages within the DOQ Priorat, all of whom share the same philosophy: respect for the winegrower, the vineyard and the landscape. Some of the estates taking part include Álvaro Palacios, Clos Mogador, Sara y René Viticultors, Clos Figueras, Lectores Vini, Mas Doix, Sandra Doix, Vall Llach, Familia Nin Ortiz, Mas Alta and Mas d'en Gil.

Villabuena Wine Fest

The village of Villabuena in Álava is hosting another edition of Villabuena Wine Fest, a wine and food festival featuring the village’s leading wineries and restaurants, as well as artisan cheese and ice cream producers from Rioja Alavesa. There will be wine stands from the 18 participating estates, including Bideona, Izadi, Luis Cañas, La Marquesa and Hnos Frías del Val, amongst others.

17th Cal Compte Tasting

More than 20 wineries from the Priorat DOQ, the Montsant DO and other regions will come together on the spectacular terrace of Cal Compte (1801), one of the most iconic manor houses in the Priorat, for this tasting limited to 150 people. Wines will be served with cheeses, oils from the Siurana PDO, breads and a rice dish with seasonal vegetables.

La fuerza del Levante

Nowadays, we find wines in Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and the Balearic Islands that are a far cry from those overly dominated by alcohol and oak which, for a long time, made the Spanish Levante region seem rather uninteresting. This tasting aims to be not only a journey through the region and its local varieties, but also a tribute to several of these producers. Eslava is a small town in Navarre that is home to the Santa Criz Roman site—considered the most important Roman city in the north of the peninsula—and a cooperative winery, Bodega Eslava, which is the village's winemaking heart. It is here that wines from projects such as Bodegas y Viñedos Baja Montaña are born, as well as the wine that Viña Zorzal produces from Corella. Rebeca Lecumberri (Bodega Eslava), Félix Bariáin (Viñedos y Bodegas Baja Montaña), and Xabi Sanz (Viña Zorzal) will be in charge of uncorking and sharing the story of Eslava through its wines.

This is the third edition of the run, which takes participants through some of Bodegas Bilbaínas’ most iconic vineyards, such as Viña Cores and Viña Cuervo, and features three categories: a 7-kilometre competitive race, a 4-kilometre non-competitive hike and a children’s race.
