The wines of Cebreros will be presented at VinytÁvila, a showroom featuring several producers from the DO, as a lead-up event to Conectando Gredos on 7 June, where 47 wineries from the Sierra de Gredos will gather.

Albariza white wines

Antonio Candelas presents a tasting of the new white wines from Jerez, soon to have their own regulations to define and highlight the region's unique grape varieties and terroir. The wines to be tasted are Elisa by González Byass, Mirabrás by Barbadillo, Vara y Pulgar by Compañía de Vinos del Atlántico, Sara Sotomanrique, Tabatiere by Bodegas Serdio, 11° Al Sol by Williams & Humbert and Mariquilla by Santiago Jordi.

Laguardia en Vino

Around 25 wineries with vineyards in Laguardia, including El Sacramento, Guardianes del Reyno, González Ayala, Gómez de Segura, Javier San Pedro, Las Orcas, Ruiz de Viñaspre, Sierra Cantabria and Cosme Palacio, present their local wines made exclusively from grapes grown in the village. The ticket includes a wristband granting access to the venue, a wine glass, and vouchers for the various pintxos and tastings. There are buses from Logroño and Bilbao.

Rosé Day

San Martín de Unx, the village with the highest number of wineries per capita in the whole of Navarra, transforms its historic centre into a huge celebration of rosé wine from the DO Navarra, featuring tastings, guided tours of its 12th-century Romanesque crypt, a craft market, traditional dancers from Ochagavía, a community meal and music.

Connecting Gredos

Around 40 producers of Garnacha and Albillo Real from the Sierra de Gredos mountains are once again joining forces to take part in the third edition of the festival. 2025 Bordeaux Primeurs Tasting and Great Vintages

This second edition will feature 22 Bordeaux châteaux, presenting over 60 wines, including en primeur wines from the 2025 vintage and great vintages already on the market. There will also be two masterclasses dedicated to Bordeaux and its wines.

The evolution of Rioja wines

The Association of Sommeliers of Navarra has invited Iván Sánchez, sommelier at Venta Moncalvillo, to lead this session, which is designed to explore how the styles, winemaking techniques and ways of interpreting Rioja wine have evolved over the last few decades. The winemaker and his wines: Thomas de Wangen

With a long track record in importing and distributing sherry in the Asian market, it was not until 2020 that this Frenchman, raised in Barcelona but with family roots in Jerez, decided to launch Dominio de las Ánimas alongside his wife Lorna Cooper –a project in Jerez where he is committed to organic and regenerative farming practices in the vineyard to produce a range of still white and red wines. He will also be presenting Diatomist, his range of fortified wines.

The New Rioja masterclass
