Wines like this show the depth of old vines. Add to this a respectful approach (indigenous yeasts, restrained oak presence) and you end up with much more complexity than your average Verdejo. Clean nose with notes of hay, grass, spring and white fruit. Pleasant texture on the palate, with pure, intense fruit flavours, notes of dried herbs and an aromatic finish with a pleasant bitter aftertaste. The price is commensurate with the grapes it is made from and what you find in the glass. 17.0 points
