The warm, sunny weather —so late to arrive this year— is the perfect setting to host wine festivals for the general public across the country. There are a bunch of them along the Mediterranean coast but Rioja is the focus of wine attention this month as it hosts the third Haro Station Wine Experience, a high-profile seminar by the Institute of Masters of Wine in Logroño and Haro’s Wine Battle where locals and visitors will dress in white to take part in the infamous festival held in the town every 29 June.
