Grapes are sourced from old vine Garnacha vines grown at 700m above sea level in El Real de San Vicente (Sierra de Gredos, Toledo). Fermented with 30% of whole bunches, the wine was then aged in 300- and 500-litre used oak casks. Fragrant, clean nose with plenty of red fruit aromas (strawberry, cherry, red liquorice) and flowers (rosa) over an aniseed background. An excellent, juicy, fruit-driven Garnacha that can be enjoyed right now and will appeal to a wide range of wine drinkers. 16.5 points
