This is the last vintage of Las Gravas to include Syrah. From 2016 the blend incorporates Monastrell and Garnacha. This a more serious, concentrated wine than the Vino de Finca and has a longer ageing capacity. Herbal (scrubland) and spicy (black pepper, clove) aromas are followed by a juicy palate with structure and finesse despite Monastrell’s distinctive earthy edge. A wine than reflects its origins. 17.0 points
