Inspired by the fine Manzanillas of the past and their graceful ageing ability, this is a selection of the best casks in the Maruja solera with an average age of at least 15 years. Grapes are sourced from Pago del Hornillo, a single vineyard near the river featuring the area’s traditional albariza soils. Impressive minerality and saline character (like drinking sea water) with the terroir coming through over the aging process. Deep, long and a real bargain considering all the magic it delivers. 17.5 points
