Fine floral character probably a result of the cool 2013 vintage, a year with challenging ripening conditions in Ribera del Duero. Ripe plums over a herbal, scrubland background. Expressive, fruit-driven palate which makes it very approachable now. Not excessively structured. Moderation is a virtue in cold years in the region, so I guess this red could also appeal to those who are not big fans of the region. 17.0 points
