Grapes were sourced from a plot with around 30 years of age in El Cortijo, near Logroño, and a slightly younger vineyard in Haro. In both cases grapes were harvested before the rain, which explains the deep, well-defined nose featuring black fruit preserve and spicy, fine minty aromas. A balanced, juicy, medium-bodied red with bright acidity and good length. A very well-made Crianza. 91 points
