The Gil family from Jumilla stands out for their ability to produce Monastrell at different price levels. This wine is the first step of their most popular wine range which includes two other wines aged in oak barrels for 12 and 18 months respectively. All of them are presented with elegant and smart-looking labels. Ripe sweet fruit and toasted aromas are followed by a savoury palate with rounded tannins and more sweet fruit. A red wine to please a large audience. 15.5 points
