Grapes are sourced from the highest part of the Ygay estate, a wide plateau at 485m above sea level. The style of the wine has evolved and it feels fresher and more fruit-driven with less obvious oak,but it still retains the structure and seriousness of oak-aged Viura. Excellent, well defined vintage showing good tension, complexity and nutty nuances on the finish. We never get tired of high-quality white Rioja. 17.0 points
