It is not a common blend in the area but it works pretty well, partly because of the absence of oak that lets the spicy, expressive red fruit come to the forefront. This is a medium-bodied but ample red in which the lovely juiciness of Garnacha stands out. A really enjoyable, crowd-pleasing wine. 90 points
