Classic Rioja at its best with plenty of finesse. Smoky, toasted nose with red fruits and minty aromas showing great complexity from the aging (vanilla, cake, clove). A pleasant acidity and round, polished tannins deliver a gentle palate with notes of raspberries and creamy flavours (cake). Ready to be enjoyed now against other 2008 Riojas, a particularly cold vintage. 93 points
