A perfect introduction to Rufete, a beautiful red grape variety grown on the green hills of Sierra de Francia, near the Portuguese border. Clever use of whole bunch fermentation with pleasant herb aromas and the right amount of tannins. A light-bodied, almost aerial, fresh wine. Expressive and enjoyable. 16.5 points
