This vintage has brought along a new packaging with a burgundy-shaped bottle and the name of the estate, Legardeta, in big letters in contrast with the former Villatuerta. The wine, a Chardonnay aged with its lees and with partial barrel-fermentation, feels renewed: white fruit, lemon zest and smoke aromas shape a complex nose followed by a sapid, well-defined palate with bright acidity and juiciness. Its freshness and discreet oak presence are very much appreciated. A very well made white. 16.5 points
