This white Rioja is different. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks but it gains complexity after being aged with its lees (half of the wine in cement, the other half in oak). It is also interesting that part of the Viura is picked early to retain freshness. This is far more complex than a young white with hay, citrus zest and herbal aromas. The palate shows consistency with fresh citrus notes. It can be enjoyed over the next two years. Great value. 16.0 points
