Harsh tannins can be an issue with Bobal reds, yet this grape variety grown in southeastern Spain adds freshness and nerve to rosés. With some white grapes in the blend, this wine is fermented and aged briefly in oak vats, just as this producer does with his reds. This is a directly pressed rosé with a fresh citrus character, nice structure and vibrant acidity delineating the palate. 16.0 points
