Zarate’s flagship Albariño is fermented and matured with its lees for three months in stainless steel tanks. It comes from 11 plots where the average age of the vines is 35 years. A good example of a mineral, austere style of Albariño displaying fine fennel and citrus aromas on the nose. Fruit-driven and savory on the palate with bright acidity. This wine benefits from some extra cellaring and can be enjoyed over the next two years. 90 points
