This is astonishingly fresh for a red wine made in southeastern Spain. Mandó has proved to be a versatile variety —part of the berries are picked early and are later blended with other, fully matured grapes. Fresh and floral nose with violet and blueberry aromas and thyme notes on the background. Very fresh herbal palate with crunchy red fruit; a light yet aromatic and expressive red. A must for those looking to try new grape varieties. 16.5 points
