First vintage of a single-varietal Garancha bearing the name of the winemaker behind it. It comes from a very old, ungrafted plot covering four hectares with many missing plants. The soil is gravely on the surface, then partly sandy, partly clay. Fragrant nose with lots of violet and sweet fruit (blueberries) aromas. Fruit-driven, juicy palate with good depth ending on a serious, earthy, mineral note. Another lovely red in the thriving renaissance of Spanish Garnacha. 17.0 points
