This is a barrel-fermented white which has been aged in oak for four months. It’s really unusual to find Petit Manseng in Spain in general, not to mention the Central plateau but the vineyards of Altolandon are located at 1,000m above sea level. Expressive nose with white and stone fruit aromas together with dry herbs and spices. Consistent palate with bright acidity and some oak which should become integrated in the coming months. An original, well-made white wine offering good value. 90 points
