50% of the wine was aged in amphorae, 50% in 500-litre barrels. This is a fragrant, evocative red exemplifying Losada’s move towards a more aerial style of Mencía. The palate is elegant and savoury, with firm tannins but expressive nonetheless. A great effort towards finesse. 93 points
