A great leap forward from the 2013 vintage, the last I had tasted of this wine. As usual with Gredos' Garnacha, the wine underwent whole bunch fermentation. It displays the most fragrant, fruit-driven components of the variety without losing the earthy edge commonly found in the region. This wine is pure pleasure -expressive, fruit-driven and aerial. The kind of red that makes Garnacha such an attractive grape and a wine fit for all palates and pockets. 16.5 points
