This soon-to-be-released second vintage is a blend of three extremely old vines from Segovia. The vintage 2015 was a bit hotter and richer than 2014. Nutty, toasted notes with lemon zest aromas. Somewhat closed, so oxigenation is recommended –it wouldn’t be unreasonable to decant. Big, broad palate with fine toast notes. Perhaps a bit warm but showing depth and minerality. Lots of character here. 16.5 points
