With trademark downy leaves, Garnacha Peluda is usually mixed with red Garnacha in the vineyards of Terra Alta but Edètaria has found this old plot where it thrives on stony soils. Wilder nose than the standard Garnacha with notes of bramble fruit and red berries. The alcohol is present on the palate, but there is also some lovely citrus acidity with fine texture and tannins. Long finish. A very interesting red wine. 17.5 points
