Since Enric Soler stopped doing bâtonnage, this single-varietal Xarel.lo —fermented and aged for eight months in 300-litre French barrels— has gained definition but it needs time to develop and to fully integrate the oak. With aniseed and white fruit aromas, this is Xarel.lo at its most elegant offering great consistency and potential. 93 points
