Despite the unpronounceable name, this wine is worth trying. Grapes are sourced from a plot in Alt Penedès planted with cuttings from Vinya dels Taus. This is a rather cool area for Xarel.lo but Soler is willing to take this risk if it means more freshness. Pure, clean nose with citrus and herbs (fennel) aromas followed by a mineral palate with vibrant acidity and tension. Really interesting although production is limited to less than 1,500 bottles. 93 points
