Grapes are sourced from +70-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils in the village of Laguardia. Deep ruby colour. Complex, elegant nose with ripe fruit, some graphite, fine oak and spices (clove). The palate is tasty and slightly minty with round tannins. It is remarkably fresh, particularly considering that 2012 was a dry vintage. 16.5 points
