With all grapes sourced from Serral del Roure estate, Subtil is gradually losing the Chardonnay to become a single-varietal Xarel.lo. Complex nose with petrol, doughy and toasty aromas. The palate feels mature with almond notes underpinned by enough acidity to add freshness. Slightly bitter finish. Pleasant but perhaps not one for the cellar. 16.5 points
