The second vintage of Juvé y Camps’s premium fizz has been granted the new Cava de Paraje Calificado category. Complex aromas of dried flowers, toasted bread and a hint of petrol followed by a powerful, enveloping, almost fleshy palate with nicely integrated acidity. This is a firm Cava with good intensity and plenty of life ahead. Yet another proof of Xarel.lo’s capacity to make top class sparkling wines. 17.5 points
