The warm character of the vintage can be felt in the ripeness of the fruit (blackcurrant jam), although the nose is very expressive with inky and spicy aromas. The palate is impressive: juicy, medium-bodied and almost spherical. There is some Cabernet in the blend making it more international in style. According to winemaker María Vargas this variety provides depth while Graciano adds structure. An excellent red. 17.5 points
