From a single south facing plot with distinctive slate and loose schist soils. Fine nose showing floral notes (petals, talcum powder) and ripe red fruit. Lovely texture. An unctuous red that manages to retain a fresh, vibrant character. Really expressive and balanced —a wine that helps to bring this area to the top level in terms of Spanish reds. 94 points
