It’s worth looking out for this new red sourced from schist soils, unlike Raro, La Zorra’s classic Rufete. The schist brings out a dark nose with black fruit and charcoal aromas dominating over floral notes. Despite its structure and depth, it has lovely juiciness and round tannins. A fine red and one of the best Rufetes I have tasted so far 17.0 points
