Whites are rarity in Sierra de Salamanca and very few producers take the trouble to find the grapes to make the wines. 8 Vírgenes Serranas is a blend of Palomino, Rufete Blanco (Verdejo Serrano) and Muscat fermented and matured in barrels. I found rich white fruit and buttery notes in a creamy and somewhat mature palate. Well-made but perhaps it lacks liveliness. 15.0 points
