2009 was the first vintage of this rare wine made in tiny amounts; it offers a great introduction to this indigenous white grape from Sierra de Salamanca. Deep lemon colour. Beeswax, lanolin and white fruit aromas over a smoked background are followed by a lively palate with bright acidity and structure. Wood is hardly noticeable. The wine is in great shape and will develop beautifully over the next 3-4 years. An interesting discovery. 93 points
