This wine is alive and kicking. Nice intensity on the nose with toasted notes and lemon zest aromas followed by sweet fruits, herbs and fine bitterness on the palate. It is really surprising how opulent a young Godello can become with some patience and cellaring time. The producer charges an extra €4 for the cellaring but wine lovers can very well buy the young Guitián and cellar it themselves at home. 16.5 points
