Vines planted in an extremely rocky plot at high altitude on the upper stretches of the Alto Alberche Valley, in the province of Ávila. Quite an Atlantic (cool, breezy, polished) rendering in terms of style, it shows herbal and spicy (green pepper) notes. Somewhat edgy on the palate although elegant and ethereal at the same time, and with a well-defined mineral (granite) finish. 17.5 points
