Even if its use is limited in the blend, the names of white grapes from outside Rioja are gradually appearing on wine labels after they were approved by the Regulatoty Board a few years ago. In this case Verdejo is blended with local Viura. Pale lemon colour. Fresh citrus and exotic fruit aromas with some hay are followed by a balanced palate with some unctuousness, fresh fruit and a slightly bitter edge. An uncomplicated, easy-to-drink wine. 14.5 points
