This single-varietal Macabeo white comes from 40- to 45-year-old vineyards grown in the Carramainas plot and forms part of the new range of single-vineyard wines by Master of Wine Norrel Robertson. He uses a press which is similar to those usually found in Champagne and the wine is aged with its lees in egg-shaped polyethylene tanks. Lots of citrus and brewed herbs notes. A fresh zesty white and good cellaring potential. 91 points
