The presence of oak in this wine is very subtle -only the Syrah portion is aged in wood with the rest going into large concrete, epoxy-coated vats. Red fruit and sarsaparilla aromas are followed by a fresh, savoury palate with lots of herbs and a pleasant limestone note on the finish. Great value. 90 points
