This wine comes from the first plot bought by the García family 20 years ago. It has distinctive volcanic soils topped by clay and loam-sandy layers where vines grow at 450 to 550m of altitude. Given its northern exposure, it feels floral and scented, yet retaining the region’s earthy, volcanic character. Bright acidity with a persistent middle-palate rather than length, but in line with the whole Suertes del Marques’ range. 91 points
