Pujanza Añadas Frías 2013 Blanco

Pujanza, Rioja

As its name suggests, this white wine is only made in cool vintages. Fermentation starts in stainless steel tanks and ends in oak barrels where the wine rests for about 16 months. Lemon colour with a greenish rim. Somewhat closed on the attack with petrol and honeyed notes over a background of stone fruit aromas. Really consistent on the palate with sharp acidity, but still very young. There’s huge potential here but it needs bottle time. 93 points
