Despite its low production (2,582 bottles), this is an affordable white with the ability to develop over the next years. Sourced from a north-facing vineyard, freshness is reinforced by the cool character of the 2013 vintage. While Malvasia adds complexity on the nose (floral and white fruit aromas), the palate is long and mineral given the chalky soil it comes from. Great acidity with just a hint of oak. Not a blockbuster as it is the case with many white Rioja but a great partner with food. 91 points
