Sourced from Ygay’s highest plot at 500m of altitude and fermented at 10ºC as if it were a white wine, Murrieta has dared to make a modern rosé a world away from the style once made in the estate. It is made from Mazuelo (Carignan), a particularly important grape in this winery, and comes in a unique, custom-designed bottle. Pale salmon colour. Fine, floral nose (petals, jasmine) over a background of red berries. Mouthwatering, fruit-driven with bright acidity. Unctuous, long palate. 16.5 points
