A warm and powerful vintage in Rioja, in 2005 it was very common to bleed the tanks in order to achieve more extraction. This wine displays fully ripe black fruit, jammy aromas followed by hazelnuts and spices evolving towards minty notes. It is still firm and with life ahead thanks to its vibrant acidity. Time has worked in its favour. 17.0 points
