Starting on this vintage, grapes are sourced from Cenicero, Navarrete, Fuenmayor and San Asensio in Rioja Alta (previously all of them came from Briones). Lovely seasoned wild fruits (blackberries, brambles) followed by a fresh, herbal note reminiscent of whole bunch fermentation, despite all clusters being destemmed. This fresh, delicious red is perfect for a barbecue or to be drunk at the beach during the summer. Good wines needn’t be complicated! 16.0 points
