What’s interesting about this wine is that it has not been in contact with oak at all; instead it has been fermented and aged in concrete eggs and earthenware vessels. The nose is floral with xarel.lo’s usual aniseed aromas over a chalky background. Clean palate with vibrant fruit, a dry finish and lots of character. One of those bottles that are easily sipped in no time. 91 points
