Light ruby colour. As fresh as most reds from Envínate, with red fruit and herb aromas, yet it feels very different from the usually powerful, almost wild Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet) grown in Almansa. In their attempt to rein in Tintorera’s strength, they have lightened it a bit too much, in my opinion. 15.5 points
