This wine comes from a very old, ungrafted plot called Caparrón located in Morales de Toro. A modern, refined approach to Toro trying to keep power under control. Rich chocolate and kirsch aromas on the nose. Lovely texture, bright acidity and lots of red fruit on the palate. It strays a bit from the region’s classic profile but this is a pleasant, well-made red wine. 17.0 points
