This Albariño has developed better than expected when I tasted it over a year ago. Pleasant nose with aromas of stone fruit in syrup and some fennel notes on the background. Broad, almost fleshy palate with salty notes on the finish. Good to drink now but it has life ahead. 91 points

Half of the wine is fermented and aged in oak while the rest is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged with its lees. Stone fruit, sugar syrup and quince aromas are followed by a savoury palate with some oak notes and syrupy fruit. Balanced and ready to drink; not a vintage to lay down in my opinion. 90 points
